Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Artist Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions

Arsenal's 10-game victorious run came to an end by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, however will the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."

The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.

In the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.

The singer's new album, the new release, is available on the weekend.

Football and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a benefit match the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!

"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."

Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.

"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football team," he added.

"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a period too.

"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Premier League Predictions

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their attack is already more potent with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this game will be quite close, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.

It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.

The expert's forecast: 1-2

Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.

The Hammers' only on the road victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was previously that team's coach.

Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?

I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.

Sutton's forecast: 2-0

Olly's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2

AI's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.

A family member advised me to select Bees forward Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had much success on the travel this season, and the Seagulls are always decent at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a threat.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

The singer's view: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1

The computer's outcome: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.

They have got lots of talent in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.

As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.

Their display in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.

The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the close of October.

However I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive results because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.

Sutton's prediction: 1-0

The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a bad run... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a hard one to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
