The goalkeeper Had little to do to perform during the opening 45 but then forced to intervene from Arbër Hoxha’s bent shot. His sliding challenge against Qazim Laci highlighted excellent anticipation. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested by the opposition's biggest threat through their forward. Operated through the middle early on but moved wider once a teammate came on. 7/10

The defender Moved forward on the ball, a familiar role in the past. On occasion was too casual when carrying play with the experiment discontinued at half-time. Six

The tall defender Always dangerous on corners and free-kicks, typically, could serve as an alternative to Stones in defense rather than paired with him. One wayward ball in the second half almost led to an opener from the visitors. Six

The young full-back Another confident showing from the youngster following his first cap against another side. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from an exquisite backheel over their defense. The left-back spot looks secure already. 7/10

Adam Wharton His first start for his country. Somewhat loose when playing out but his whipped set-pieces were a threat. A handy pace-controller for the manager to utilize versus sides that sit back. Booked for a rash challenge. 6

Declan Rice Crosses on corner kicks and set-plays caused problems. Enjoyed freedom to roam on the left yet found himself offside when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Granted a deserved break on the hour mark. 6

Jude Bellingham Played in a forward spot on the right while also did plenty of dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality and dragged an attempt over. Substituted late on by Rogers, a fellow player, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate staying deep, it fell to him to provide width out wide but his crosses into the box were inconsistent. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes in an England shirt. His first a classic poacher’s finish while the second a classy headed goal following a clever run from his marker. Aged 32, he continues to improve and the side have every chance in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder however Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger influence in his place. 5/10
